Linking to Anchor Points in Contribute

Posted in Adobe Contribute by Adam Lofting

If you have a particularly long web page, it is sometimes nice to be able to link to content further down the page so that your visitor does not have to scroll a long way and try to find the content themselves. When the visitor clicks on a link, the page simply jumps to the relevant point on the current page.

Basic Overview of the Concept

  1. Identify the point you wish to “jump” to
  2. Mark this point with an Anchor Tag
  3. Create a new link
  4. Point the link to this Anchor Tag
